Behren Morton, QB

PFSN Quarterback Impact: 81.3, B-

A big-time riser this season following the success of Texas Tech’s 12-1 season heading into their playoff matchup against Oregon. Senior QB Behren Morton could find himself being drafted in the middle rounds of the NFL Draft, offering teams a scrappy quarterback who has an excellent command of his offense with room to develop his accuracy and pre-snap adjustments.

David Bailey, EDGE

PFSN EDGE Impact: 92.9, A-

David Bailey’s tape screams offensive disruptor as the EDGE rusher proves to be unstoppable without two linemen on him, and even that can barely hold the 6-foot-3 bull rusher back. He’s a sound tackler who closes in on ball carriers and quarterbacks with ease. No doubt in my mind that he is worth a first-round selection after the 2025 tape.

Jacob Rodriguez, LB

PFSN Linebacker Impact: 90.1, A-

The Big 12’s best linebacker per PFSN ranking, Jacob Rodriguez, has put together one of the best seasons from a linebacker while proving to be ready for the NFL following this playoff run for the Red Raiders. An instinctual player, Rodriguez has a relentless motor and is the best linebacker in coverage that this draft class has to offer.

Lee Hunter, DL

PFSN Defensive Line Impact: 81.9, B-

One of the best nose tackles in the 2026 draft class, Lee Hunter, is a 330-pound pass rusher who has looked excellent this season among a star-studded cast on this Texas Tech defense. His quick first step and bulldozer strength are the most significant factors in his game, along with an aggressive pursuit once the football is snapped.

Romello Height, EDGE

PFSN EDGE Impact: 82.4, B-

An underrated player on this loaded Texas Tech defense, Romello Height has proven to be a talented worker no matter what school it was for, as the senior EDGE rusher spent time with Auburn, USC, and Georgia Tech before his single season with the Red Raiders. Already with nine sacks and two forced fumbles, Height has all the tools to be a day-two steal or potential to play into the late first round.
