The 2025 NFL Draft has come and gone, but it’s never too early to start thinking about next year. The newest NFL players are still learning their surroundings, but PFSN has already released its first 2026 mock draft.
The projected first overall pick isn’t surprising, but the Arizona Cardinals are predicted to add another weapon to Kyler Murray’s arsenal.
Arizona Cardinals Add Potential WR2 in 2026 Mock Draft
2024 was an interesting season for the Cardinals. They hung around the NFC West race for most of the season before finishing 8-9 and missing the playoffs. When it came down to it, Arizona couldn’t beat the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks, the two teams that finished better in the division.
The Cardinals beat Los Angeles in Week 2, but only managed nine points in the Week 17 loss. Arizona scored just six and 18 points in the two losses to Seattle, however, this was PFSN’s fifth-best offense according to the Offense+ metric.
Murray runs the show, and the team added Marvin Harrison Jr. with the fourth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The rookie picked things up late in the season, but posted 62 catches, 885 yards, and eight touchdowns.
The focal point of Drew Petzing’s offense in 2024 was tight end Trey McBride. It took the Pro Bowler until Week 17 to get in the endzone, but he led the Cardinals in receptions (111) and yards (1,146).
2025 has to play out, but PFSN predicts Arizona will secure the 11th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. With that pick, the Cardinals will select Clemson receiver Antonio Williams, and hopefully form a dynamic duo with Harrison.
Ian Cummings wrote, “The 2026 NFL Draft WR class is wide open right now, and there isn’t a lot of established early-round talent. My early favorite in the group is Clemson’s Antonio Williams — a natural-born separator with lightning-level twitch and second-nature body control.
“At 5’11”, 190 pounds, Williams isn’t the biggest receiver, but he compensates with hyperactive foot speed, electric quickness and sharp angle freedom in and out of breaks, and reliable hands for his size. In Arizona, he’d be a picture-perfect WR2 for Kyler Murray alongside Marvin Harrison Jr.”
Williams was a reliable weapon for Cade Klubnik in 2024, posting 75 catches, 904 yards, and 11 touchdowns in 14 games. His touchdown total led the ACC, and Williams bounced back well after only playing five games the year before.
The Tigers unexpectedly won the ACC and secured an automatic berth in the College Football Playoff last year. If Williams can come close to or surpass 11 touchdowns in 2025, Clemson is poised to return to the tournament, and the receiver could push into the top 10.
