The Arizona Cardinals will host the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12 as they look to notch just their second win in eight weeks. Jacksonville, meanwhile, aims to build on the momentum from last week’s convincing 35-6 victory over the Chargers.
Both teams dealt with numerous injury designations throughout the week, and several key players, including Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey Benson, have been ruled out. Here’s a closer look at the full injury report.
Who Are Out of Contention for the Jacksonville Jaguars?
Brian Thomas Jr. will miss his third straight game, still recovering from the injury he sustained in Week 9 against the Raiders.
However, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported that he has a “good chance” of playing in Week 13.
Tight end Hunter Long also remains out, still dealing with the knee issue suffered in Week 9.
Jacksonville has clearly felt the loss of his size and physicality, particularly in two-tight end sets. Fortunately, Brenton Strange’s return helps offset Long’s absence if he’s able to suit up.
