Tennessee Titans fans have been waiting to see how 2025 NFL Draft first-round pick Cam Ward would perform in his first NFL preseason action. Their long wait is finally over as Ward and the Titans take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday, August 9.
Titans head coach Brian Callahan will be looking to see how Ward, who played college football at the University of Miami, matches up against the Buccaneers. Don’t expect to see many starters, if any, take the field for Tampa Bay. Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles is going to be evaluating second- and third-string players against Tennessee.
Buccaneers fans probably will not see Baker Mayfield play at quarterback against the Titans. While this is a preseason game, it could be entertaining if Ward comes out and shows what made him a top pick.
What Time Does The Game Coverage Begin?
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Eastern. Tampa Bay fans in the metropolitan area can tune into WFLA-TV to watch. As for Tennessee fans, they can watch in Nashville on WKRN-News 2. The Titans game will also be available on the Titans Preseason TV Network.
What about streaming platforms? Buccaneers and Titans fans can check out the contest on Fubo, YouTube TV, Hulu Live, and Sling TV. Also, if NFL fans have NFL+, the game will be shown on that platform. NFL+ subscribers can watch the game on their phones, tablets, or TV sets.

Who Are The Game Announcers For The Buccaneers-Titans Game?
For the Titans, it’s going to take some adjustment for their fans. Taylor Zarzour was named as the new Titans’ play-by-play voice in April 2025.
Zarzour takes over for longtime voice Mike Keith, who will now broadcast Tennessee Volunteers sports. Dave McGinnis will once again be along in an analyst role, while Will Boling and Amie Wells will report from the sidelines. All games will be broadcast on the Titans’ flagship station, WGFX 104.5 (104.5 The Zone).
As for the Buccaneers, longtime Fox Sports play-by-play broadcaster Chris Myers will handle those duties in preseason games. Former Buccaneers standout cornerback Rondé Barber will provide analysis during the game, and reporter Aileen Hantiuk will work the sidelines.
On the Buccaneers’ radio call will be longtime “Voice of the Bucs” Gene Deckerhoff with Dave Moore on color commentary. T.J. Rives will be down on the field with in-game updates and reports. The radio call will be carried on the Bucs’ flagship station, WTXB 97.9.
