Caitlin Clark Reveals Which NFL Team She ‘Hates’ With 3-Word Message

A huge Kansas City Chiefs fan, Caitlin Clark reveals the one NFL team that she cannot come to support at any cost, and actively hates.

It is hard to find a player quite as transcendent for a sport as a whole as Caitlin Clark. Ever since her stint in the NCAA, she has shed new light on women’s basketball, which has not only transformed the collegiate landscape but also the WNBA, thriving like never before. As a result, her fame and popularity have only continued to rise.

Keeping up with other sports, Clark has also developed a passion for the NFL, particularly for her fandom of the Kansas City Chiefs. However, with a disastrous season for the Chiefs concluding in Patrick Mahomes tearing his ACL, Clark now needs a new team. But rather than choose the new team she’ll support, she made it absolutely clear which team was not going to be on her list.

Caitlin Clark Repping Chiefs Fandom Even After Their Season Ended

A proud member of the Indiana Fever, who selected her with the first overall pick, Clark has been instrumental in the franchise’s complete transformation, going from back-to-back first-round picks to a semifinal appearance in just two seasons.

However, even with her loyalty to Indiana, where she constantly cheers on the NBA counterpart, the Indiana Pacers, her fanfare for her football team goes a touch deeper. With her familial and collegiate roots in Iowa, Clark has been a lifelong Chiefs fan.

Her love for the franchise came into the limelight when she was seen in the suite room alongside Taylor Swift and other high-profile fans in Kansas City. Last year, she revealed how deeply her fandom was ingrained.

“I have family in Kansas City, and I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, which is only three hours from Kansas City. That’s just the closest NFL team. My dad was a big Chiefs fan growing up.”

But making an appearance on the “New Heights” podcast this week, it became abundantly clear to anyone watching just how much she was cheering her team on. When asked about the Buffalo Bills, a cringe appeared on her face as she said through gritted teeth, “I hate the Bills, ugh.”

As the Kelce brothers, featuring one of the greatest players in Chiefs history, Travis Kelce, laughed at her anger at the franchise, it was clear that she was woefully unfamiliar with the history between the two teams over the last several years.

With arguably the two best quarterbacks in the entire league, the two sides had faced off 10 times since Josh Allen and Mahomes assumed the reins of the franchises. The record was split 5-5, albeit with the Chiefs having a marked 4-0 edge in the postseason.

With virtually every match coming down to the wire, and the Bills seen as the next best team in the AFC outside of Kansas City, the vitriol from Clark became immediately understandable, with years spent rooting against the franchise.
