Who Are the Buccaneers-Falcons Announcers? A Look at Amazon Prime Video’s Broadcast Team for Thursday Night Football

As the Buccaneers take on the Falcons in a TNF matchup with playoff implications, here’s who will be calling the game on Amazon Prime Video.

While injuries can be blamed, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have simply been disappointing over the past month, dropping four of their last five games. Their 7-6 division lead is now tied with the Carolina Panthers, putting the Bucs squarely in must-win territory as they prepare to host the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football.

The Falcons have won only one of their last eight games. However, they defeated the Bills earlier this season and will be eager to spoil Tampa Bay’s plans. With an exciting matchup on the horizon, here’s a look at who will be calling the game on the Amazon Prime broadcast.

Who Are the Announcers for Buccaneers-Falcons on Amazon Prime Video?

  • Lead Play-by-Play Announcer: Al Michaels
  • Color Commentator: Kirk Herbstreit
  • Sideline Reporters: Kaylee Hartung

Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime Video once again features a star-studded broadcast team that blends legendary experience with fresh, engaging perspectives. Leading the booth is Al Michaels, one of the most iconic voices in sports broadcasting history.

Michaels has been a part of the sports TV landscape since 1968 and has become a sports TV institution. A seven-time Sports Emmy award winner, he is the only play-by-play announcer to be in the booth for the Super Bowl, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Finals, and World Series.

Joining him in the booth is Kirk Herbstreit, a former Ohio State quarterback turned Emmy-winning analyst, who brings a wealth of football insight and on-field perspective. He’s known for his work at ESPN’s College GameDay and his color commentary on college football broadcasts.

On the sidelines, Kaylee Hartung provides timely updates and behind-the-scenes insights. A seasoned reporter with experience at ESPN, ABC News, and CNN, Hartung brings a polished and informative edge to the live broadcast. She has also starred in ABC’s Good Morning America, among other notable shows.

Amazon Prime also turned to Charissa Thompson to assemble this Avengers-like broadcasting crew. This is her fourth season as TNF’s halftime show, following her start on FOX back in 2007.

From then on, it’s all NFL legends on the crew. Former tackle Andrew Whitworth, the oldest offensive lineman to win a Super Bowl, will serve as one of the pregame, halftime, and postgame analysts. He’ll be joined by fellow former Super Bowl winner Richard Sherman, legendary tight end Tony Gonzalez, and retired QB and fan favorite Ryan Fitzpatrick, who received an average score of 74.7 on PFSN’s QB Impact metric.
