In a massive Week 11 matchup between two 6-3 teams, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are facing off against the Buffalo Bills. This game was close all day, and both teams looked capable of winning. However, the Bills pulled out the win 44-32.
Every single yard could be the difference, and fans know this, so when a very questionable call by the refs occurs, fans explode in anger.
Fans’ Reactions to the Referee’s Questionable Spotting of the Ball
At the beginning of the third quarter, Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield was able to complete a pass to TE Cade Otton right at the first down line.
Instead of this being a new set of downs, the referees spotted the ball short, which resulted in a Tampa Bay punt.

Due to the questionable nature of this, fans had reactions.
One fan angrily said, “Refs tried to f**k us on the spot of that Chaad catch, but Bake wasn’t gonna let it stop them! Let’s Go @Buccaneers.”

This call by the referees was extremely close, and no matter how it was called, one of the teams was going to have heated reactions.

The good news for Buccaneers fans was that when Tampa Bay punted after this call, Buffalo actually fumbled on the punt and gave the ball right back.

After the fumble recovery, the Buccaneers had excellent field position and scored a touchdown to take the lead. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to win the game with the Bills scoring two touchdowns in the last ten minutes of the fourth quarter.
