Myles Garrett is probably having a great offseason after inking a historic deal with the Cleveland Browns. The star defensive end is entering his ninth season with the franchise and preparing hard for the 2025 NFL season.
The Browns edge rusher went head-to-head with his girlfriend, Chloe Kim, in a friendly race, and Kim’s reaction after the result is winning hearts and quite a few laughs on social media.

Garrett and the Browns ended this phase of the offseason training with two OTAs (from May 27 to June 5) and one mandatory minicamp from June 10 to 12. Over a week later, the 2023 NFL Defensive Player of the Year took a break from his workout to flaunt his speed against his girlfriend.
Kim shared a clip of their sprint on her Instagram story. The pair could be seen taking their stance at the starting line in an indoor football field. However, their race had a little twist. Garrett ran backwards, while Kim, a two-time Olympic gold-medalist snowboarder, gave it her all running forward.
The Browns star wore a black t-shirt, white shorts, white compression leggings, and red-accented cleats, while Kim donned a cropped grey t-shirt, high-waisted blue jeans, and white sneakers.
Despite the head start and direction advantage, Chloe struggles to keep up and eventually loses, but her humorous reaction to the loss is cracking people up.
“99% sure I would’ve won if I wasn’t wearing Jeans,” she wrote.
Garrett and Kim made their first public appearance at the Anime Awards in Tokyo last month. Kim is the youngest woman to win Olympic gold in snowboarding halfpipe at 25. The NFL star was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and has stayed with the franchise throughout his career.

The Browns drafted Garrett after the team went 1-15 in 2016, and he immediately became the face of the franchise. Garrett only had seven sacks in an injury-shortened rookie season but has collected 10+ in each season since. The defensive end has been named an All-Pro four times and was the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2023.
He initially demanded a trade from the Browns but ended up extending his stay in a record-breaking deal. The Browns signed him to a four-year extension worth $204.7 million, including $122.7 million in total guarantees. With that deal, Garrett became the highest-paid edge rusher of all time.
