The Denver Broncos made a change in March. They sent their 2026 first-round pick (No. 30) to Miami in a deal for Jaylen Waddle. Picks No. 94 and No. 130 went with it, and they got Waddle plus No. 111 back. But while it showed they are no longer waiting around, it also left them without a first-round pick.
Why Kenyon Sadiq and Jeremiyah Love Are Trade-Up Targets for the Broncos
If you look at how fans are using PFSN’s mock draft simulator, they’re not treating that pick like it’s gone. Around 39.8% are trading up for Kenyon Sadiq. Another 12.8% are going after Jeremiyah Love.
According to his scouting report by PFSN, Sadiq is one of the easier fits to see.
PFSN Grade: 87.96
PFSN Rank: 16
Position Rank: TE1
He is 6’3″ and just under 250 pounds, and nothing about his movement looks rushed while playing. Oregon moved him around a ton, and he handled it without things getting messy.
His numbers jumped from 2024 to 2025: 24 catches for 308 yards and 2 touchdowns, then 51 for 560 and 8 touchdowns. He finds space well, adjusts on the fly, and finishes his plays cleanly. He also does the routine stuff without it becoming a problem, like blocking, lining up in different spots, and handling assignments.
The connection with Bo Nix has been discussed before as well. They have already played together, and that will probably show up in the timing and spacing. In Sean Payton’s offense, these things matter.
In the meantime, Love brings something different, according to his scouting profile:
PFSN Grade: 90.37
PFSN Rank: 4
Position Rank: RB1
He is 6’0″ and 214 pounds, plus his speed is obvious. He’ll slow things down, let a play develop, and then go through a gap before it fully opens, which is very different from having only straight-line speed.
He reads things early and trusts them. He’s also involved in the passing game, as he can line up out wide, run routes, and stay part of the offense beyond just carries.
That fits what Payton usually looks for at the position. And for Denver, there’s room for that.

With Javonte Williams now in Dallas, the backfield does not really have that one player who can change a play on his own. Love gives them that. Alongside someone like RJ Harvey, it starts to look more complete.
Their talents are probably why their names keep coming up. The Broncos don’t have a first-round pick right now. But the way fans are approaching this, they haven’t given up on getting one back.
