San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy shares a moment with his baby girl Mille.

Brock and Jenna Purdy got married in 2024, but their relationship goes back a bit. They met while attending Iowa State University, where Purdy was a star quarterback. Brock has had quite a journey in the NFL, where he earned “Mr. Irrelevant” status as the final pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

He’s been everything but irrelevant to the 49ers’ offense. Last season, Brock threw for 3,864 yards and 20 touchdowns, according to StatMuse. He also rushed for 323 yards and five touchdowns, giving the 49ers a boost in the passing and rushing games.

Can 49ers Return To NFL Postseason with Purdy?

San Francisco hopes to make its way back into the NFL postseason. The 49ers didn’t get the job done last season, finishing out of postseason play for the first time since 2020. Brock threw three touchdown passes and two interceptions in the team’s final game last season, which was a 40-34 loss to the Detroit Lions.

As for Brock’s career numbers with the 49ers, he’s thrown for 9,518 yards and 64 touchdowns. Brock also made his way into one Pro Bowl. In addition, Brock signed a five-year, $265 million contract extension in the offseason. He recently talked about the upcoming season and his new deal while appearing on “The Rich Eisen Show.”

Taking time out to be with his daughter shows that Brock has his priorities straight. Family is important, not to be dismissed as he gets the 49ers ready to play this season. The 49ers finished 6-11 last season, ending up fourth behind the division-winning Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, and Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West Division and 12th overall in the NFC.

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan will be looking for Brock to have a stellar season, getting the team back into the winner’s circle. Yet don’t expect Dad not to have a little time set aside when Millie and Jenny visit him on the field.
