If there is anyone that Brittany and Patrick Mahomes’ daughter Sterling looks up to, it’s her mom. Brittany Mahomes is a proud mother who often shares glimpses of her children on Instagram. Without fail, these are pictures that fans can’t stop gushing about on social media. Her latest series of stories had a similar adorable feel as Mahomes shared a picture of Sterling trying to imitate her mom.

Patrick Mahomes’ Daughter Sterling Plays Mom
On Monday, April 14, the Kansas City Current co-owner shared a series of Instagram Stories of baby Sterling donning a floral baby carrier with a doll inside while standing on a dock. The 4-year-old was showing off a baby fish that she caught in the picture in her adorable pink polka dot dress.
“Catching fish, baby and all,” Brittany captioned one of Sterling’s pictures and “just obsessed” with another. She also tagged Patrick Mahomes in one of the pictures to share the precious moment with him. It is safe to say that Sterling has been taking the fishing lessons with her father seriously.
Ever since the offseason started, the Mahomes family has often been spotted at the dock doing some leisure-time fishing. It was just last month that Patrick took his kids, 4-year-old Sterling and 2-year-old Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, on a fishing trip. Both kids caught baby fish that Mahomes posted on his Instagram as a proud father.
Essentially, Brittany’s Instagram is filled with cute pictures of Sterling: from her devouring shaved ice to rocking a Kansas City Chiefs outfit at a soccer game, hitting the gym, having an epic 4th birthday party, and, of course, those adorable fishing trips. Fans can’t stop gushing over her.
Sterling became a big sister for the second time on January 12 this year, as the Mahomes couple welcomed their third baby, daughter Golden Raye. The couple announced the little one’s arrival in a joint Instagram post where they shared a photo of their daughter’s feet over a wooden sign featuring her name: “Golden Raye Mahomes. 1/12/25,” read the caption on the photo.
The three-time Super Bowl winner admitted to loving all these little moments, keeping his kids the center of his attention during the offseason is very important.
“Whenever I get in the offseason, I try to spend as much time as I can with them and get to see what they do on a day-to-day basis and build those memories with them,” Mahomes told reporters at Super Bowl 59. “During football season, you take so much time away from those little memories that you have just taking your kids to gym class or whatever it is and taking them to school and stuff like that.”
It will be interesting to see all the fun updates from the Mahomes house as the offseason progresses.
