Cooks Betting Trends and Stats
Cooks has had at least one 1,000-yard season receiving with each of his previous four teams.
Cooks Best Bet
Cooks’ 699 receiving yards last season was the third-fewest he’s had in his nine-season career. And though he should be able to take some of the pressure away from CeeDee Lamb, it’s difficult to see him ever returning to the 1,000-yard seasons he enjoyed six times in nine seasons.
He can still be a contributor to the Cowboys’ season, however. He will probably still get his share of catches. In fact, he caught at least four passes in 11 of 13 games last season.

But while he’s in good shape to go over his 3.5-receptions total for this week, the better value is in his longest reception prop. For me, it’s difficult to see Cooks getting a 20-yard reception in this game. Cooks’ last two seasons have seen him averaging 11.5 and 12.3 yards per reception, his lowest average since his rookie season in 2014 (10.4).
Cooks can still be a solid target for Dak Prescott. But just not as a deep threat.
Take the under for his longest reception at 19.5 yards.
