Nix opted not to participate in the 40-yard dash and the remaining agility drills at the 2024 NFL Combine. The Oregon QB may opt to run and participate in other athletic drills at the Ducks’ Pro Day.

However, Nix did throw during drills and was a participant during the gauntlet for wide receivers. Nix, as was the case throughout his lengthy college career, was accurate and sharp with his throws all evening long on Saturday.

He may have missed a handful of throws to the receiving group, but for Nix, his acclimation process and growth over the past two seasons at Oregon are more than enough to cement his status as a top-tier quarterback.

Nix had several throws downfield that put his arm strength on display, however, showcasing he’s more than just a checkdown quarterback as some have wanted to slap on his scouting report.

Bo Nix’s 2024 NFL Draft Scouting Report

Nix grades out as a late first-round prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft, who could field mid-first-round consideration from teams that present ideal schematic fits.

Earlier in his career, Nix was a volatile but talented passer whose flaws were placed under the microscope at Auburn. But at Oregon, Nix was able to find stability and proper support and build upon his foundation as an elite creator and passing talent.
