The Buffalo Bills are actively restocking their roster with younger talent, surrounding quarterback Josh Allen with new faces.
Only two of the top 10 youngest active players were selected in the 2024 NFL Draft, with the rest from the most recent 2025 draft class.
Top 10 Youngest Active Players on the Buffalo Bills
1) Deone Walker, defensive tackle | age 21
Deone Walker is the youngest active player on the roster. Walker played three seasons for the Kentucky Wildcats and was selected by the Bills with the 109th overall pick. He played several positions across the defensive line in college but would likely focus on tackle in the NFL.
2) Jordan Hancock, cornerback | age 21
Jordan Hancock was Buffalo’s fifth-round selection (No. 170) in the NFL Draft. Hancock started his college football career as a rotational player and special teamer before securing a starting position in the second half of the 2022 season. Last season, he played primarily as the slot cornerback for the national champion Ohio State Buckeyes.
3) Maxwell Hairston, cornerback | age 21
Maxwell Hairston is the Bills’ 1st-round selection from this season. Hairston was a standout cornerback at Kentucky, where his best season came in 2023, with five interceptions and 66 combined tackles.
4) T.J. Sanders, defensive tackle | age 21
T.J. Sanders was the Bills’ second selection after Hairston in this year’s NFL Draft.
Sanders played four seasons for the South Carolina Gamecocks and had 8.5 sacks in the past two seasons.
5) Keon Coleman, wide receiver | age 21
Last year’s second-round draft pick Keon Coleman is the fifth youngest on the list. He played thirteen games for the Bills last season and had 29 receptions for 556 yards. Buffalo did not have a 1,000-yard receiver last season, and is hoping for a leap in production for Coleman in his second year.
6) Jacob Bayer, center | age 22
Jacob Bayer was signed by Buffalo as an undrafted free agent after the 2025 NFL Draft. Bayer played two seasons for the Lamar Cardinals in NCAA Division I before transferring to Arkansas State, and was All-Sun Belt Conference in both seasons with the Red Wolves.
7) Cole Bishop, safety | age 22
Cole Bishop was a 7th-round pick in 2024 and had 40 combined tackles and one forced fumble while playing college football for the Utah Utes.
8) Kaden Prather, wide receiver | age 22
Kaden Prather is the Bills’ 7th-round selection. Prather was a four-star recruit and played for both West Virginia and Maryland in college.
9) Keleki Latu, tight end | age 22
Keleki Latu was a pass-catching tight end for the Washington Huskies. Latu initially played for California and Nevada before transferring to Washington. He was undrafted before signing with the Bills.
10) Zion Logue, defensive tackle | age 22
Zion Logue entered the league last season as a 6th round pick by the Atlanta Falcons. He was signed by the Bills off the Falcons’ practice squad last October and signed a reserve/future contract in January.
