Throughout the offseason, Bill Belichick and his relationship with the 24-year-old Jordon Hudson have become the talk of the town. His transition to college football and taking over the head coaching job at the University of North Carolina felt like a significant change to the hierarchy, but the shenanigans with Hudson have drawn more attention.
Recently, a report about his girlfriend being banned from the university’s football premises made the rounds, becoming a hot topic of conversation. However, despite the ongoing controversy, Belichick showed solidarity to Hudson in a public appearance to support her in her ambitions.
Bill Belichick Turns Heads at Beauty Pageant
And unfortunately, it wasn’t for his looks. At the 2025 Miss Maine USA pageant, Hudson was among the contestants vying for the crown. But a bigger story became the appearance of Belichick among the 200-odd spectators at the event.
From one of the most feared head coaches in NFL history to pageant appearances, the drastic change in the greatest coach of all time has been something to witness. Taking place at the Holiday Inn in Portland, the New England Patriots legend was reportedly in a front-row seat.
After finishing as runner-up last year, it was the second consecutive time that Hudson was partaking in the competition, potentially in the hopes of bagging the Miss USA honor.

However, in the last week-plus, one of the biggest spectacles of the sporting world has been the brewing controversy between Belichick’s girlfriend and the Tar Heels football program.
Pablo Torre was the one to break the news, stating, “Jordon Hudson is no longer allowed in the football building. She is not allowed on the football field. Quote, don’t think you’ll be hearing much from Jordon moving forward.”
Additionally, he added that the decision came directly from the same folks who hired Belichick in the first place. Moreover, even the legendary head coach’s family was “extraordinarily concerned” with the way things were proceeding.
“One Belichick family source told me, quote, there is deep worry for how detrimental Jordan can be for not just North Carolina, but Bill’s legacy, reputation, everything he has built and worked for over decades.”
However, despite his adamant claims, the official word from the University of North Carolina has been to a different tune. “While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities.”
Continuing, the official statement also stated, “Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.”
Regardless of the drama that the alleged banning created, it appears that the two lovebirds aren’t fazed by it one bit. With the two continuing their public appearances, it will be worthwhile to see how Hudson fares in the Maine pageant.
