As Bill Belichick’s future with the University of North Carolina remains in doubt, his girlfriend Jordon Hudson is capitalizing on the media spotlight. The 24-year-old former pageant contestant is reportedly eyeing opportunities in television, even as controversy swirls around her growing influence on the legendary coach’s new chapter.
Jordon Hudson Eyes TV Career Amid Bill Belichick-UNC Uncertainty
Hudson has been gaining national attention — not just for her relationship with the NFL legend but for how she may be leveraging the spotlight. A former cheerleader at Bridgewater State University and the first runner-up in the 2024 Miss Maine USA pageant, Hudson is now reportedly exploring a career in television.
The Daily Mail reports via AwfulAnnouncing.com that Hudson has already been offered a spot on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” She will probably turn it down, though, due to a scheduling conflict with North Carolina football. Yet, some around the UNC program reportedly wouldn’t mind if she took the offer — for that very reason.
Even if she declines the show, Hudson appears interested in using her rising fame to break into media.
“Whatever Jordon would like to get into, in front or behind the cameras, she wants to do some shows in the hosting realm,” an unnamed source told DailyMail.com.
Hudson’s growing visibility comes as Belichick’s UNC tenure faces scrutiny. Journalist Pablo Torre reported Hudson was banned from team facilities, which is a claim UNC denied.
Still, her frequent media presence has reportedly drawn negative attention, including during Belichick’s CBS interview, when she interrupted him after being asked how the two met and said, “We’re not talking about this.”
Torre believes there’s a real chance Belichick may never coach a game at UNC. He noted that June 1 is a key date when the buyout in Belichick’s contract drops from $10 million to $1 million, potentially opening a cost-effective exit.
“Are things so dysfunctional behind the scenes when it comes to the power struggle … then there is the ability for him to get out of it,” Torre said.
If Belichick does part ways with UNC, speculation around a potential NFL return will only grow louder. While a 2025 comeback seems unlikely, teams like the Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, and New York Giants could be interested next season if their current coaching situations falter.
For now, both Belichick’s coaching future and Hudson’s media ambitions remain in flux. But the one thing that is clear is that neither is staying out of the spotlight.
