Who Are the Bengals’ Youngest Active Players? Top 10 Includes Shemar Stewart and Amarius Mims

Shemar Stewart, the Cincinnati Bengals' first-round draft pick, is the youngest player on their active roster at just 21 years old.

The Cincinnati Bengals have one of the youngest rosters in the league, and they added a new batch of young talent with the recent NFL draft. Shemar Stewart, the Bengals’ first-round pick at 17th overall, is the youngest player at age 21.

Top 10 Youngest Active Players on the Cincinnati Bengals Roster

1)     Shemar Stewart, Defensive End | age 21

Shemar Stewart spent three seasons at Texas A&M after being the top pass rusher from the 2022 high school recruiting class. Stewart had 65 combined tackles and 4.5 sacks in his three seasons as an Aggie, but it is his upside that got him drafted in the first round.

2)     Dylan Fairchild, Guard | age 21

Dylan Fairchild was selected in the third round by the Bengals. Fairchild spent four seasons at Georgia and was the starting left guard in 2023 and 2024. His impressive performances earned him second-team All-SEC honors last season.

3)     Tahj Brooks, Running Back | age 22

Tahj Brooks was a sixth-round selection by the Bengals. He is the all-time leading rusher in Texas Tech Red Raiders history after five seasons with the program. Brooks is diminutive, at only 5’9” but is fast and has good contact balance to break out of tackles.

4)     Amarius Mims, Offensive Tackle | age 22

Amarius Mims was the Bengals’ first-round selection last year. He played in 15 games in 2024, starting 13 of them. He is graded by Gridiron Grading as one of three players to play more than 150 pass sets without surrendering a sack.

5)     Jalen Rivers, Guard | age 22

The Bengals selected Rivers in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Rivers spent five seasons at the University of Miami. He was the starting left tackle entering last season but suffered an injury. He returned as a spot starter at both left tackle and left guard.

6)     Barrett Carter, Linebacker | age 22

Barrett Carter is a linebacker who was selected 119th overall in the fourth round of the recent NFL Draft. Carter played four seasons at Clemson, racking up 12.5 sacks and 233 total tackles for the Tigers.

7)     Cedric Johnson, Defensive End | age 22

Cedric Johnson is entering his second season as a Cincinnati Bengal after being a sixth-round selection last year. He played in nine games, recording seven tackles and a sack.

8)     Kendall Milton, Running Back | age 23

Kendall Milton initially signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent but was added to the Bengals’ practice squad after being waived. He played in two games last season but did not record a carry.

9)     Jordan Moore, Wide Receiver | age 23

Jordan Moore is an undrafted free agent wide receiver who signed with the Bengals. Moore played college football at Duke and led the team in receiving yards in both 2023 and 2024.

10)  Myles Murphy, Defensive End | age 23

Despite being just 23, Myles Murphy is entering his third season in the NFL. Murphy was the Bengals’ first-round pick in the 2023 draft. He played all 17 games in his rookie season and sacked the quarterback thrice that year. His second year was less productive as he missed games due to a knee injury and failed to get a single sack when he played.
