Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase Preparing To Play vs. Patriots

The receiver said Friday he would play without a contract, but Chase also said he would be a game-time decision despite being 100% healthy.

Chase’s health took a turn for the worse Saturday when he woke up sick enough that the Bengals had to add an “illness” designation to the injury report, where he is listed as questionable.

He was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday with a “non-injury related-rest” designation. He was a full participant on Friday, however, and appears as though he will play today against the New England Patriots.

Chase said Friday he would be good for “40 to 50 snaps,” which is slightly less than his usual workload in the 60s.
