Archie Manning: The Manning Family Legacy

In this episode of More Than Football On Location, Trey Wingo sits down for an exclusive interview with Archie Manning.

In 2021, Peyton Manning was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, and Trey Wingo sat down for an exclusive interview with Archie Manning to dig into the Manning family legacy. You might be surprised that Archie confided that the “Hall of Fame is nothing that never, ever entered my mind, and I never heard [Peyton] say it.”

That doesn’t stop fans of the Manning family from speculating about Eli’s chances of an induction or the young Arch Manning’s chances of a successful career ahead of him. But it started with Archie Manning as the second overall pick in the 1971 draft, playing quarterback for the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings, and ending his career with the Houston Oilers in 1983.

In this episode of More Than Football On Location, you will learn how each of Archie’s sons – Cooper, Peyton, and Eli Manning – have all achieved success in their own respects and how fortunate, appreciative, and blessed their family has been over the years.
