While St. Brown was starring on Netflix’s “Receiver,” Adams made plenty of appearances in her own right. She joined St. Brown in balancing football and his personal life, which she is a big part of.

St. Brown and Adams’ relationship dates all the way back to high school when the pair met during their sophomore year at Servite High School in Anaheim, California. According to St. Brown on Receiver, the two were paired together for an assignment in English class.

“We had a project and started talking then. By the end of my sophomore year, we started dating, and we’ve been together ever since,” he said.

St. Brown’s parents met Adams not too long after, when she was 16. According to his dad, John, he was protective of St. Brown and his dreams. However, Adams was different. “I found out she was a really special girl,” said John in an interview on the show. “You’re my daughter now.”

After high school, St. Brown went to college at USC, ultimately heading to the NFL. Adams, on the other hand, got into nursing school in Orange County. When St. Brown was drafted to Detroit, their relationship became long distance.

“She tries to come to as many games as she can,” said St. Brown.

Now in the NFL, Adams is by St. Brown’s side through everything. She was captured attending games and showing her emotions through the ups and downs. More specifically, when he dealt with a case of hand, foot, and mouth disease, she recalled the pain she felt for him.
