Carter Discusses 2025 NFL Draft

Carter was a three-year starter at Penn State and dominated Big Ten competition during that time. He’s now widely regarded as one of the top prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Right now, he’s not the favorite to go first overall. The Tennessee Titans are expected to take Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 pick. Still, Carter believes he has a strong case to be the first player off the board.

“I think just my overall impact on the game,” Carter said at Penn State’s Pro Day, via ESPN’s Brooke Pryor. “My versatility. I can play multiple positions, and I feel like most importantly I step up when I’m needed the most—when crunch time comes around. When you need somebody to make that big play, I feel like I’m the guy who makes that big play.

“At the end of the day, I make people around me better. Just taking on double-teams, bringing extra attention to me, freeing up somebody else so they can make the play—and just my overall impact on the game.”

The 2025 NFL Draft is upon us. Carter has done everything he can to boost his stock. He’s got the tools to become a star at the next level. Now it’s just a matter of where he lands and what jerseys his siblings will have to wear.
