One of the most outspoken voices in the NFL, Aaron Rodgers, is at it yet again.
On Monday, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback joined “The Pat McAfee Show,” live from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa., where the black and gold hold their yearly training camp.
Rodgers is a frequent guest on the show and has accumulated several memorable remarks over the years. It was no different as he spoke to McAfee and cast-mates on the latest rendition.

McAfee and the gang welcomed several guests to the program on Monday, including Rodgers, Mike McCarthy, Omar Khan, Pat Freiermuth, DK Metcalf, and more. However, none of the guests had the audience’s attention more than the four-time MVP.
While discussing scandals both inside and outside the NFL, Rodgers did not hold back, calling out ESPN for its lack of coverage of certain topics that did not involve him.
“There was another scandal this offseason involving a voter, too, for MVP, for coach of the year. How much time did your network spend on that?” asked Rodgers. “How much time did you spend?”

The future Hall of Famer is referring to the April scandal involving former NFL reporter Dianna Russini and New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel. The two had been spotted holding hands and embracing at a resort in Sedona, Arizona, and photos of them broke in the media shortly after.

Since then, Russini has resigned from The Athletic and is currently unemployed, whereas Vrabel is still with the Patriots but missed the third day of the 2026 NFL Draft to attend counseling.
Rodgers brought up the Coach of the Year award because Vrabel won that award last season while Russini was a voter. Although the Associated Press hasn’t released the ballot, which reveals who voted for whom, many have speculated about a conflict of interest, with Russini potentially voting for Vrabel amid their alleged relationship.
Rodgers’ belief that there was an alleged lack of coverage of the matter was not the only frustration he voiced during his time speaking with McAfee and the crew. As the 42-year-old enters his final NFL season (something he has firmly noted several times now), it is evident that he has no concern for people’s impressions of him.

Amongst his callouts, Rodgers did not hold back on Dr. Anthony Fauci, his COVID beliefs, and individuals who have hated on the quarterback and his family dynamic.
“What are you gonna say about me now?” questioned Rodgers. “No, seriously, what are you gonna say about me now? You can’t talk about the COVID stuff because obviously it was made in a lab in China, that’s not even questionable anymore. Tony Fauci is an absolute criminal, and I’m on good terms with my family, what’re you gonna say now?”
It appears the focus is on football more than maybe ever for the second-year Steeler, as all outside noise has been pushed to the wayside.
Returning weapons for Rodgers include the aforementioned receiver, Metcalf, tight ends Freiermuth and Darnell Washington, and running back Jaylen Warren. Newly acquired pieces via trade, draft, and free agency include receivers Michael Pittman Jr. and Germie Bernard, and running backs Rico Dowdle and Eli Heidenreich.
