The men’s singles draw for Wimbledon 2025 is out, and we are set for some high-octane tennis action over the next couple of weeks. Carlos Alcaraz won the grass-court Major in 2024 and will be a heavy favorite to triumph this year as well. However, the likes of Jannik Sinner, Jack Draper, and Lorenzo Musetti are all capable of challenging him for the title, among others.
On that note, let us take a look at how the men’s singles draw at Wimbledon 2025 could unfold.
1st Quarter — Jannik Sinner Will Look to Move on From French Open Heartbreak With Wimbledon Win
World No. 1 Jannik Sinner will be a heavy pre-tournament favorite coming into Wimbledon. The Italian has been in the form of his life and has already had an impressive 2025 season so far, winning the Australian Open. Sinner was on course to win the French Open and even had a few championship points before Carlos Alcaraz scripted his remarkable comeback.
He will start his Wimbledon campaign against compatriot Luca Nardi and should have a smooth path to the fourth round, where he will most likely face Tommy Paul. While the American is capable of giving Sinner a run for his money, the Italian should be able to get the better of him and reach the quarterfinals.
The other half of this quarter has 10th seed Ben Shelton, 18th seed Ugo Humbert, and last year’s semifinalist Lorenzo Musetti, who has been in pretty decent form lately. The likes of Reilly Opelka and Brandon Nakashima should not be written off, as they are capable of doing well at Wimbledon at their best.
Musetti should manage to reach the fourth round without much trouble and here, his opponent could be either of Ben Shelton or Ugo Humbert. While both players are formidable opponents, the Italian should manage to overcome either of the two and book his place in the quarterfinals.
Here, he could have his path cut out, as Jannik Sinner is in sensational form. The World No. 1 should eventually manage to come out on top and book his place in the Wimbledon semifinals.
Quarterfinal Prediction: Jannik Sinner to beat Lorenzo Musetti.
2nd Quarter — Novak Djokovic Will Aim to Win Record-Equaling 8th Wimbledon Crown
Sixth seed Novak Djokovic is in this quarter and will look to clinch his eighth Wimbledon title to equal Roger Federer’s record. With the Serb’s fitness issues, there is a good chance this year could be his last appearance at SW 19.
Djokovic’s potential opponents early on in the tournament include Christopher Eubanks and 30th seed Alex Michelsen, but he should be able to make it to the fourth round without much trouble. Here, the Serb’s potential opponents include 21st seed Tomáš Macháč and 11th seed Alex de Minaur, both of whom are tricky to beat. However, he should be able to get the better of either of the two to book his place in the Wimbledon quarterfinals.
The other side of this quarter has fourth seed Jack Draper, who will have high expectations entering the tournament and will also have the crowd’s support on his side. 2017 runner-up Marin Čilić could be a potential opponent of the Brit in the second round and he could have it tough, but should be able to come out on top.
Draper could face a tough task in the third round, as his opponent will most likely be 28th seed Alexander Bublik, who won the Halle Open not long back. This match could be an interesting one, and the Brit might just about edge out the Kazakh.
If Draper makes it to the fourth round, he will probably face either 15th seed Jakub Menšík or 22nd seed Flavio Cobolli. Menšík could be a tough opponent for the Brit, but it will not be a surprise if the latter manages to come out on top and reach the quarterfinals.
Draper will have the crowd on his side if he faces Djokovic in the last eight at Wimbledon. However, if the Serb is at his fittest, his mentality should be enough to take him through to the semifinals of the grass-court Major.
Quarterfinal Prediction: Novak Djokovic to beat Jack Draper.

3rd Quarter — Taylor Fritz, Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev and Matteo Berrettini Make for Interesting Draw
This quarter has some decent players in Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, Daniil Medvedev, Matteo Berrettini, Hubert Hurkacz and Karen Khachanov, among others.
Fritz’s grass-court performances have been decent so far this season, winning the Boss Open and reaching the semifinals of the ongoing Eastbourne Open. The American’s potential opponents early in the tournament include Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, but he should manage to book his place in the fourth round.
Here, he could most likely face ninth seed Daniil Medvedev, although Alexei Popyrin should not be written off. The Russian reached the semifinals of the grass-court in the last two editions, but he has not been in the best of form lately. So, there is a good chance of Fritz beating him and booking his place in the quarterfinals.
The other side of the draw will be a tricky one, as the likes of Alexander Zverev, Francisco Cerundolo, Matteo Berrettini, Hubert Hurkacz and Karen Khachanov are all capable of reaching the fourth round. Zverev and Berrettini could meet in the third round of Wimbledon, and it will not be much of a surprise if the Italian comes out on top, given his quality on grass, even if we consider the fact that he has not played a single match since the Italian Open.
In the fourth round, Berrettini will most likely take on Karen Khachanov, although it won’t be a surprise if Cerundolo reaches the Round of 16. The Italian has had some impressive moments on grass and should manage to reach the quarterfinals.
Fritz might be the on-paper favorite to beat Berrettini in the last eight of Wimbledon but the Italian on his day is a menace for the best of players, and has had some promising performances so far in 2025, that include reaching the quarterfinals of the Miami Open. So, it will not be much of a surprise if he manages to beat the American and reach the semifinals of the grass-court Major.
Quarterfinal Prediction: Matteo Berrettini to beat Taylor Fritz
4th Quarter — Carlos Alcaraz Will Look to Win his 3rd Straight Title at Wimbledon
Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz is in this quarter and is a heavy favorite to win this year’s edition of the grass-court Major following his French Open triumph. He will enter the tournament after winning his second title at the Queen’s Club Championships.
Alcaraz’s early potential opponents include Felix Auger-Aliassime but he should have a fairly smooth run to the fourth round, where Andrey Rublev could be his most likely opponent. The Russian has not been at his best but should manage to book his place in the Round of 16. However, it will take something extraordinary for the Russian to get past the Spaniard.
The other side of this quarter has Holger Rune, Jiří Lehečka, Frances Tiafoe and João Fonseca, among others. It will most likely come down to Lehečka and Rune for a place in the quarterfinals.
The Czech has had some promising performances on grass and already reached the fourth round of Wimbledon once. Lehečka’s game on grass will not be easy for Rune to handle, so it will not be a surprise if he beats the Dane and reaches the quarterfinals.
Alcaraz already beat the Czech at the Queen’s Club Championships this year, and he should come out on top again.
Quarterfinal Prediction: Carlos Alcaraz to beat Jiří Lehečka

Semifinal and Final Predictions
Jannik Sinner won his last four matches against Novak Djokovic and given his current run of form, there is a good chance of the Italian coming out on top again, especially if he is at his best, mentally more than anything.
Alcaraz and Berrettini locked horns in the fourth round of Wimbledon 2023, with the Spaniard coming back from a set down to win 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, 6-3. If the Italian reaches the semifinals, that alone will be a big confidence boost for him.
However, Alcaraz’s morale will also be very high after his monumental French Open triumph. The Spaniard should manage to beat the Italian fairly comprehensively and set up another Major title clash with Jannik Sinner.
Alcaraz and Sinner played out one of the best Grand Slam finals of all time at the French Open, and we can expect another thriller if the two lock horns in Wimbledon. At this point, the Spaniard will be the on-paper favorite to win a match against the Italian, as he has won the last five encounters between the two.
Alcaraz’s movement on grass and his game should see him get past Sinner once again and win his third successive title at Wimbledon.
Final Prediction: Carlos Alcaraz to beat Jannik Sinner.
