Deion Sanders Seen Fishing With Travis Hunter in Recent Video

In a YouTube video posted by Well Off Media, which is an account run by Deion Sanders Jr., Deion Sanders was seen fishing at his house in Texas with his former Heisman-winning two-way superstar, Travis Hunter.

The video is about 19 minutes long, and most of it is just content of Hunter and Sanders on a small boat together fishing. Not much is said between the two, but it is putting fans at ease who have been worried about Deion’s health.

While there still hasn’t been a specific update on exactly what Sanders is dealing with, his son, Sanders Jr, did seem happy to see his dad being active.

“Coach Prime is back active, moving around. God is great. Not back active moving around, but it’s progress,” Sanders Jr. said.

In an earlier update, when the news about Deion’s health concern was first announced, Sanders Jr. said that Coach Prime will provide an update himself once he is back on campus in Boulder.

This isn’t the first time that Sanders has dealt with health issues, as back in 2022, the Buffaloes coach had to have two toes on his left foot amputated due to blood clots in his leg that developed from a previous surgery.

Then, in 2023, Sanders had to get another surgery on his leg to deal with more blood clots in both of his legs.

However, it is not confirmed that the current health issue that Coach Prime is dealing with is related to those blood clots, and again, fans should get the whole story once he returns to Boulder. There is no current timetable set for that return.

Regardless of what health issue is causing Sanders to be away from Colorado, it’s great to see him up and active, and this may be a sign that he will be back in Boulder with his team sooner rather than later.

Hunter and Sanders have publicly stated how close their bond is, and it’s cool to see that Hunter took the time to go see and spend time with Prime while he recovers.
