Despite his busy schedule, Ohanian always makes time for his daughters, Olympia and Adira, especially when it comes to making pancakes, ranging from adorable characters to creative shapes.
Among the latest creations, Ohanian’s elder daughter, Olympia, made a sunset-shaped pancake surrounded by small macarons. The Reddit co-founder, seemingly delighted by his daughter’s creation, shared that on Instagram and wrote:
“Look at @olympiaohanian working that griddle! These #PapaPancakes are gonna be her speciality soon. She made a sunset and a bunch of little “macaroons” with the small ones by putting some nutella in of them like a sandwich,” he captioned.

In fact, Ohanian later introduced his younger daughter, Adira, to the intriguing activity and stressed the importance of beginning at a young age.
“Gotta start ‘em young! @adiraohanian learning the #PapaPancakes tradition,” he wrote.

As a devoted father, Alexis Ohanian thoughtfully supports his daughters’ growth in every aspect, including financial literacy. In April this year, he revealed that Olympia receives a $7 weekly allowance, humorously noting Serena acted as her lawyer during contract negotiations.
“She has an allowance. She gets $7 a week. Serena was her lawyer in the negotiation. I drew up a real contract. We negotiated it, her mom was her counsel, which was really frustrating,” he shared on X (formerly Twitter).
The tech-entrepreneur further explained that Olympia’s limited weekly allowance cultivates a sense of responsibility and an appreciation for the value of hard work.
“Yes, Olympia’s got a contract. $7/week allowance—negotiated by her mom (who somehow got her weekends off). Feed the dog, clothes in the hamper, make her bed, get paid. We’re trying to build the muscle: work = reward. Good things come when you work for it,” he added.

Ohanian met American tennis icon Serena Williams by chance in 2015, and their bond steadily grew. They married in 2017, just two months after Olympia’s birth. Their younger daughter, Adira, was born in August 2023.
