The Los Angeles Sparks are gearing up for an exciting 2025 WNBA season, which features a 44-game regular-season schedule. Fans have plenty to look forward to this year, including the debut of a new team — the Golden State Valkyries — and a special ceremony to retire Candace Parker’s jersey.

Whether you’re grabbing tickets or following from home, there are plenty of ways to stay connected to the Sparks all season long.

Los Angeles Sparks Preseason Schedule

The Sparks will play just one preseason game in 2025 — a key opportunity for new players to build chemistry and for fans to get a first look at the team in action.

That game is set for Tuesday, May 6, at 7 p.m. PDT, when the Sparks take on the Valkyries at Chase Center in San Francisco. It marks Golden State’s first game in WNBA history and could be the start of a California rivalry between the two teams.
