Quinshon Judkins was one half of a running-back duo that propelled Ohio State to a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2024. Along with teammate TreVeyon Henderson, Judkins now projects as one of the better running back prospects in this year’s NFL Draft class.

How Tall Is Quinshon Judkins?

Judkins measured 5’11 5/8″ at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. Of the 48 NFL running backs with 85+ carries in 2024 (5.0 per game average over 17 games), Judkins would be in the upper middle of that group in height.

The tallest NFL back to attempt 85+ carries in 2024 was Derrick Henry at 6’2″, while the shortest were Jaleel McLaughlin and Devin Singletary at 5’7″.

How Much Does Judkins Weigh?

Judkins weighed in at 221 pounds. Of those same 48 NFL running backs, that would put Judkins at 16th, between Josh Jacobs (223) and Joe Mixon (220).

Judkins attended Pike Road High School in Pike Road, Ala. He rushed for 3,016 yards and 51 touchdowns over his final two years in high school and was recruited by Ole Miss as a three-star recruit.

Revisiting Judkins’ College Career

In his freshman year, Judkins led the SEC in both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. His 1,567 yards on the ground were the second most by a freshman in SEC history, behind only Herschel Walker in 1980. Judkins followed that up with 1,158 rushing yards in 2023, along with 15 rushing touchdowns, making it 31 in total for Ole Miss.

His eye-catching displays for the Rebels predictably led to some high-end interest in the running back. Judkins transferred to Ohio State for the 2024 season, a move he wouldn’t regret. While no longer the workhorse back, Judkins still amassed 1,060 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground, as Ohio State won the national title.

Judkins added to his remarkable rushing figures with 59 receptions for 442 yards and five touchdowns through the air over his three college years.

How Fast Was Judkins’ 40-Yard Dash?

Judkins ran the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds. That’s the same time that Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel Sr., and D’Andre Swift recorded at their respective NFL Combines.

Judkins’ NFL Outlook

Judkins projects as an immediate starter in the NFL. While likely to end up in a rotation, Judkins’ size and toughness would allow him to take on a three-down role if needed. Most likely to be taken on Day 2 of April’s draft, Judkins is one of several top prospects that will have current NFL running backs fearing for their jobs.
