What Happened to Dalton Schultz?

UPDATE: Schultz re-entered the game at the end of the first half.

ORIGINAL: Schultz was hurt on an incomplete target with 1:17 remaining on the second quarter. He got up holding his left shoulder and immediately jogged off the field into the blue medical tent.

Schultz was one of two available tight ends for the Texans in this game, with practice squad elevation Irv Smith Jr. being the other.

Schultz had one reception for nine yards at the time of his departure.

Potential Fantasy Fallout From Schultz’s Injury

Schultz was on the low end of consideration when fully healthy, so hopefully this doesn’t impact much on your end. The streaming radar is ripe with options, and now you’re chasing your tail to make ends meet on a weekly basis.

Tank Dell’s iffy value gains a bit as a result of this injury, but not enough to shift him up a tier at the position.
