UFL Stadiums: Breaking Down Where All 8 UFL Teams Play Their Home Games

With the UFL's second season underway, let's examine the eight stadiums where each UFL team plays their home games.

The UFL‘s inaugural season was a success, as the San Antonio Brahmas won the UFL Championship. Now, with the league’s second season underway, let’s examine where each team plays their home games.

In 2025, seven of the eight teams have remained in the same stadiums — with one moving back to a familiar home.

Where Does the UFL Play Its Games?

Arlington Renegades: Choctaw Stadium

Choctaw Stadium can seat 48,114 people, and the Arlington Renegades have played in this stadium since 2023. The stadium is where the MLB’s Texas Rangers used to play.

Arlington has had a lot of success here as well, as the team won the XFL title in 2023.

Birmingham Stallions: Protective Stadium

One of the newer stadiums in the UFL, Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Ala., served as the central hub for the preceding USFL in 2022.

Much like Choctaw, Protective Stadium is a solid-sized stadium that can seat 47,100 fans. The stadium is right in the middle of downtown Birmingham, providing a college gameday-like feel.

The Stallions won back-to-back USFL championships and lost against San Antonio in the inaugural UFL Championship.

D.C. Defenders: Audi Field

While the first two stadiums mentioned can seat many fans, Audi Field is only capable of seating 20,000 people. It is also the home field for the D.C. United soccer team in the MLS.

The stadium was built in 2018, making it one of the newest stadiums in the UFL.

It doesn’t seat nearly as many as the other stadiums, but the Defenders have had a great home-field advantage over the past few seasons. In 2023, the team advanced to the XFL Championship.

Houston Roughnecks: TDECU Stadium

From 2020 to 2023, the Roughnecks played at the University of Houston’s TDECU Stadium. Then, in 2024, they played in Rice Stadium, which holds 47,000 fans.

Now, this year, the Roughnecks have returned to TDECU Stadium.

TDECU Stadium is where the Houston Cougars play their home games, and it holds 40,000 fans. The stadium is owned by the University of Houston and it’s on the college’s campus.

Memphis Showboats: Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium

The Showboats played at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium during their USFL run in the 1980s, and now they have returned to the stadium.

At 58,325 fans, this is a huge stadium with a great game-day environment. The Memphis Tigers play their college football games here. Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium also hosts classic games such as the Liberty Bowl and annual Southern Heritage Classic.

There are very few stadiums in the UFL with more history than Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, but the next one has just that.

Michigan Panthers: Ford Field

If Ford Field sounds familiar, it should. It is where the Detroit Lions play their home games.

Fans at Ford Field have had a lot to cheer for as of late, as the Lions have emerged as a perennial contender in recent years.

At 65,000 capacity, this might be the top stadium atmosphere in the league.

San Antonio Brahmas: The Alamodome

This is the biggest stadium in the UFL, as The Alamodome can hold 73,086 people. However, attendance wasn’t great in 2023, largely because of the team’s record.

Now, after a terrific season and a victory in the UFL Championship, there’s plenty for fans to be excited about.

The stadium also hosted the San Antonio Commanders of the AAF in 2019.

St. Louis Battlehawks: The Dome at America’s Center

If it isn’t the Panthers with the best home-field advantage in the UFL, then it is probably the Battlehawks.

The Dome at America’s Center holds 67,000 fans, and with the loss of the Rams to Los Angeles, this is a football-loving city that no longer has an NFL team.
