Who is in the booth for Amazon Prime tonight? What time is the pregame show for the Patriots vs. Steelers, and who will be on the broadcast set?

The New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers kick off Week 14 with Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime. New England enters the game on a five-game losing streak and is currently in an unusual position for the second overall draft pick. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh enters the game as the fifth overall seed in the AFC playoff race but needs a win with several teams close behind.

Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. ET, while the pregame show starts at 7 p.m. But who will be announcing the Week 14 matchup?

Who Will Be Announcing the Patriots-Steelers Broadcast Tonight?

Al Michaels will be doing play-by-play, Kirk Herbstreit is providing analysis, and Kaylee Hartung is reporting from the sidelines.

Herbstreit, who is in his second season with Amazon Prime, has been one of the faces of college football on ESPN since the 1990s. He played quarterback at Ohio State from 1989 to 1992 and was the team’s starter and MVP as a senior.

Hartung has worked with ESPN, the Longhorn Network, the SEC Network, CNN, and ABC during her career. She is currently a contributing correspondent for NBC’s TODAY Show.

Charissa Thompson hosts the pregame show that features former NFL players Richard Sherman, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andrew Whitworth, and Tony Gonzalez.

Michaels’ Time in Primetime

Michaels joined Amazon Prime in 2022 and has been broadcasting a weekly prime-time NFL game since 1986. He called Monday Night Football on ABC from 1986 to 2005 before moving to NBC’s Sunday Night Football in 2006.

Herbestreit is in his second season working with Michaels at Amazon Prime. He joins an impressive list of analysts who have shared a booth with Michaels.

Cris Collinsworth spent the longest time in the booth with Michaels, as the pair spent 13 seasons calling Sunday Night Football on NBC from 2009 to 2021. Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Giants running back Frank Gifford was with Michaels, calling Monday Night Football on ABC for 12 seasons from 1986 to 1997.

John Madden worked with Michaels from 2002 to 2009, doing Monday Night Football on ABC and Sunday Night Football on NBC. Michaels also worked with former offensive lineman Dan Dierdorf, former quarterbacks Boomer Esiason and Dan Fouts, and comedian Dennis Miller on Monday Night Football on ABC.

Throughout his career, Michaels was the voice of many MLB World Series games, as well as Super Bowls.

Michaels is a five-time Sports Emmy Award winner, a three-time NSMA National Sportscaster of the Year, and a Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism recipient.
