Michael Gallup’s catch percentage last season vs. NFC East opponents was 45.2%, and against the rest of the league it was 58.1%.

Gallup is coming off a season in which he had career lows in receiving yards (424) and yards per reception (10.4). In addition, his catch percentage of 52.7% was his lowest since his rookie season (48.5%).
Fortunately for Gallup and the Cowboys, they are facing one of his favorite opponents. Gallup’s career high of 158 receiving yards came in 2019 against Giants, and his season high in 2022 also came vs. the Giants (63 yards).
Gallup will not only have to deal with CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks when it comes to attention from Dak Prescott, but running back Tony Pollard will no doubt take some receiving chances away from Gallup.
He struggled catching the ball against divisional opponents in 2022 (14 receptions on 31 targets), and he only surpassed 33 receiving yards in two of his five games against NFC East teams. Still, I’m going to take a shot that he will come up with enough against one of his favorite opponents to get at least 33 yards receiving.
