One of the most uniquely fascinating NFL Drafts in the last several decades took place in 2016 when perhaps the best eventual quarterback was merely the eighth QB off the board. Meanwhile, the sixth and seventh WRs taken have combined for more receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns than the first five WRs combined.
And, of course, this was the draft when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected a kicker in the second round after falling in love with his college accuracy — despite the fact that his worst season (by far) had come in his final collegiate campaign.
