If you’re playing a Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New York Giants DFS lineup for Sunday in Week 7, then you’ve come to the right place. We’ve analyzed each team’s highest-probability game scripts to assess the most likely outcomes, including which players are in line to thrive more than anticipated or fall short of expectations.
The following recommended fantasy football lineup (for tournaments, 50/50, or head-to-head competitions) aims to lock in a relatively high floor while maximizing upside.
Jaguars Considerations
The Jaguars were once 2-1 with a 14-0 lead on the Eagles. A lot’s changed since then. For starters, their No. 1 receiver has only five catches for 35 yards in his last two games. We’ll need to pay heavily for Christian Kirk in DFS, but no defense is giving up fewer WR fantasy points per game than the Giants.
Yikes, right? Well, we need some context. Previous No. 1 WRs that New York has faced include Devin Duvernay, Allen Lazard, Darnell Mooney, CeeDee Lamb (catching passes from Cooper Rush), DJ Moore, and Treylon Burks (or Robert Woods; take your pick).

In other words, if we buy into the Giants’ pass defense as “great,” then we’re missing part of the story. That doesn’t mean we should invest in Kirk, but we shouldn’t shy away from more affordable options like Zay Jones or possibly Evan Engram.
As for the running game, it’s only a matter of time before Travis Etienne Jr. is priced higher than James Robinson. Etienne continues to look like the safer high-upside option for a team that needs to establish the run and which does so to great effect. The Giants are yielding a league-high 5.6 yards per carry. Enough said.
Giants Considerations
No need to over-complicate this. Saquon Barkley is worth every penny every week. That he’s facing a near-elite Jaguars run defense doesn’t matter. Yes, Jacksonville is giving up the third-lowest yards per carry (3.6). But they’re surrendering the second-most RB receptions per game (7.8). Whether on the ground or through the air, Barkley remains the Giants’ offensive focal point.

Can we trust anyone else? Probably not. Daniel Jones could be priced almost as high as Barkley, but with a much lower ceiling. Of course, if the Jags’ offense clicks, Jones might need to throw a lot more than usual which should drive up his numbers.
But who will he throw to? Daniel Bellinger is still a nice TD-dependent flier, and rookie Wan’Dale Robinson deserves a close look, depending on his cost. Still, this is the definition of a spread-it-around passing attack. Even Week 5 hero Darius Slayton took an unceremonious backseat in Week 6.

Today, we’re playing DraftKings “Showdown Captain Mode,” which includes one player who earns 1.5 times his scoring output, plus five Flex players.

Typically I’d suggest Barkley at Captain, but I think Etienne ($8,000 normally, $12,000 as Captain) offers better value based on pricing. We’ll still include Barkley ($12,400) and Robinson ($8,400) based on the assumption this will be a run-friendly game.
I’d also take a flier on the boom-bust Engram ($5,400) in the belief the Giants’ defense will shorten the field, forcing Trevor Lawrence to target close-proximity pass-catchers. The only other receiver I’d recommend is Marcus Johnson ($1,200), who will be paired with Daniel Jones ($10,000).
If Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney remain sidelined, we’re set. If one of them returns, then Johnson’s modest upside would shrink to just above zero points. In that scenario, we’d swap out Johnson for the slightly more palatable Matt Breida ($1,000).
