College Football Teams Undefeated After Week 6

Following Week 6, there are 15 college football teams that remain undefeated. As the weeks wind on toward the national championship in January, that number will get steadily whittled down as undefeated teams face off against each other.

After College Football Week 6, next weekend’s action is shaping up to be a phenomenal feast of football. In the SEC, undefeated Alabama — fresh off their nail-biting, nerve-rattling win over Texas A&M — travel to Knoxville to face a Tennessee team who was imperious on both sides of the ball in their win over LSU.

Led by ascending NFL draft prospect Hendon Hooker, the Vols are truly establishing themselves as the best of the rest behind the Crimson Tide and Georgia this season. Can they topple Alabama from its perch atop the SEC?

Following their impressive win in a College Football Week 6 shootout with Kansas, TCU returns to Fort Worth with their undefeated record intact. They’ll play their part in another all-Big 12, all-undefeated matchup as they host an Oklahoma State team that survived a scare against Texas Tech to reach the mid-point of the season undefeated.

The Big Ten also offers us an all-undefeated clash. Penn State was on a bye in Week 6 and watched Michigan take care of Indiana to set up a scintillating clash in the “Big House.” The Nittany Lions emerged victorious the last time the two teams met in Ann Arbor but were on the wrong end of a 42-7 beatdown there in 2018.

Can any team match 2019 LSU, 2018 Clemson, or 2013 Florida State and win a title without tasting defeat in the entire season? These are the contenders following all of the college football action in Week 6.
