FOX’s NFL Pregame and Halftime Show Commentators

FOX Sports has long been home to one of the most acclaimed NFL pregame and halftime shows, featuring some of the best talent in the business. Kevin Menefee, now in his 18th season as host, continues to do an excellent job leading the show and setting up the players on the crew.

The former NFL players on the broadcast include four-time Super Bowl champions Terry Bradshaw, Rob Gronkowski, and Hall of Famers Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson, and Michael Strahan.

Bradshaw led the Pittsburgh Steelers during their iconic 1970s Super Bowl run. Gronkowski was instrumental to Brady’s success with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Strahan recorded 141.5 sacks with the New York Giants between 1993 and 2007. Long was a cornerstone of the Oakland Raiders’ defense in the 1980s, while Johnson guided the Dallas Cowboys to two Super Bowl titles in the 1990s.

Additionally, FOX NFL Insider Jay Glazer, who provides game-day news and analysis each Sunday, joins the team periodically. This marks the 18th season the crew has worked together on the pregame and halftime shows, giving them excellent chemistry and a clear understanding of each member’s role.

“FOX NFL Kickoff” enters its 13th season and will air at its usual 11 a.m. EST time slot. Charissa Thompson will be joined on the desk by Charles Woodson and Julian Edelman, and Colin Cowherd is also expected to contribute to the show.

It will be broadcasted from a new studio “which will contain the same XR/AR technology seen on “FOX NFL Sunday,” 54 million LED lights,  eight tracked cameras and 40 real-time render engines driving the set. The enhanced technology will allow the set backdrop “to mimic the visuals of any NFL stadium.”
