Top college games to watch in Week 0

There are two games in particular that you will want to watch on Saturday.

Nebraska at Illinois prediction

One of the most intriguing college football games today features a big conference game in the Big Ten. Head coach Scott Frost must show that his Cornhuskers are progressing because it’s been a rough start to his return home. This offense will be fun to watch if he can get quarterback Adrian Martinez to play at a higher level.

Bret Bielema takes over an Illini program looking for a revival. He returns plenty of key talent, but can they elevate their play to stun Nebraska? There’s plenty of pressure on Frost, but the Cornhuskers are the more talented team.

Hawaii at UCLA prediction

We’ll see plenty of intriguing college football games today, but none match the excitement this one provides. Chip Kelly enters a pivotal season with UCLA, one that determines the future of the program and his tenure with the Bruins. It all starts with Dorian Thompson-Robinson (DTR), who’s set to have a breakout season that could land UCLA in the conference championship.

Hawaii enters the second season under Todd Graham and has the talent to potentially pull off an upset. Running back Calvin Turner is one of the most versatile players in the country, and the Rainbow Warriors’ defense is an underrated group. If UCLA is firing on all cylinders, they win this battle with ease. Any slip-ups could make it interesting, but I trust Kelly and DTR to get the job done.
