The LSU Tigers got the decision they were looking for. Dae’Quan Wright and Zxavian Harris can be rostered by LSU after the court ruled that they could play despite turning professional in the NFL after last season.
But the SEC isn’t messing around and has threatened LSU with potential sanctions if it adds Harris and Wright to its roster.
With all that’s been going on over the past couple of weeks, LSU fans and national champion Breiden Fehoko aren’t thrilled with their school right now.
Breiden Fehoko Among LSU Fans Unhappy Latest Developments
Fehoko and the Tigers’ fans aren’t on board with LSU preparing to add Wright and Harris after the court ruled in their favor.
LSU is the first school willing to go all-in on ex-NFL players returning to college to play. With sanctions threatened, fans don’t want to see their school’s legacy, postseason chances, or anything else to be affected by just a few players looking to play ball.
“Sad. Pathetic. Embarrassing. A mockery of the sport,” said Fehoko.
Fehoko knows what it means to wear the Tigers jersey with pride as a member of the dominant national championship squad that had NFL stars like Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Derek Stingley Jr., and Justin Jefferson.
LSU is one of the storied college football programs, and the Tiger faithful would hate to see their legacy tarnished by Lane Kiffin adding former pros to their team.
“Stop this nonsense [Lane Kiffin] you are potentially destroying the reputation and standing of our university. This is bigger than your ego do what is right and inform those players you are moving on,” said one LSU fanpage.

Even Dick Vitale, the legendary broadcaster, entered the discussion to reveal where he stands. It’s not with LSU.

“Not surprised by the ruling by the judge in Louisiana. Former NFL players do not belong in college. I agree with SEC commissioner Greg Sankey,” said Vitale.

The LSU program has a tough decision to make. It looks like they’re going to roster the players despite the heat they are catching, and Kiffin is getting grilled.
“Agreed. He’s embarrassing,” said one fan.

Kiffin doesn’t have many supporters, but one fan came partly to his defense. Kiffin has the support of his administration, which is behind his decision and therefore should be the target of disgust rather than Kiffin alone.
“It’s not as if Kiffin is doing anything alone. He has bosses, such as the AD, Chancellor, and President,” said one fan.

The Tigers have made a lot of enemies with this decision. The SEC is unhappy with them, the college football world is upset with them, and even some of their own fans and alumni aren’t happy with them.
All eyes will be on their upcoming decision and their game against Clemson this weekend.
