Should You Draft Jerry Jeudy in Fantasy Football?
Despite being only 27 years old, Jeudy exhibits several concerning statistical trends that hinder his viability in our world. Over his past 50 games and 338 targets, he has managed to haul in just 8 touchdown passes. His underlying target-earning traits have experienced a meaningful decline over the last three years compared to the strong production of his first three seasons in the league, and this isn’t exactly an offense built to reverse things.
Cleveland’s offseason actions signal a clear lack of long-term belief in Jeudy as a primary option. The franchise spent two top-40 picks on wide receivers during April’s draft, bringing in premium young talent to compete for immediate work and learn on the fly. Investing heavy draft capital at the position indicates that the franchise is actively preparing to transition away from the old guard in favor of young options.

I have no idea which part of that stat is the most gobsmacking. Under 3.5 red-zone routes per game for a WR1? Two catches? Three yards? A 14.3% catch rate?
It’s almost impossible to produce anything of substance with a note like that in your profile, and given that the Browns drafted not one, but two receivers inside of the top 40 picks in April, one can’t help but think his role is far from locked in.
I still have him projected as the wide receiver set to see the most targets for Cleveland this week, but at some point, that’s a garbage-in garbage-out projection process. I’m not confident on an opportunity ceiling or the value of the chances he does get.
The Jags allowed the third-fewest yards per pass a season ago (behind only the Seahawks and Broncos), giving me an additional excuse to not touch this offense with a 10-foot pole.
