‘So Insecure,’ ‘Has to Be Something You Can Sue Over’ — NFL World Rips Shilo Sanders for Editing Bills TE Dalton Kincaid Onto Album Cover

Shilo Sanders is facing some backlash over his new album's cover having an edited picture of Bills TE Dalton Kincaid in it.

Shilo Sanders had been hoping to carve out a legacy in the NFL just like his father did and his brother currently is. But the 2025 draft prospect went undrafted before being picked up by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

A rough preseason showing, highlighted by an atrocious mistake, led to the team waiving him before the 53-man roster cutdown. Since then, he’s pursued a music career. But after the release of his new album, fans are peeved by a creative liberty he’s taken with the cover.

Shilo Sanders Isn’t Living Down His Album Cover Mixup

A collegiate career that took him from South Carolina to Jackson State and finally to Colorado culminated in Sanders declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft. However, the safety hadn’t done enough for a team to select him during the draft.

Even after being picked up as an undrafted free agent, he blew his opportunity during the preseason. Facing the Buffalo Bills, Sanders got into a heated confrontation with tight end Zach Davidson.

Eventually, their scuffle turned physical, with the son of Deion Sanders taking a direct swing at the Bills tight end. However, it looks like Sanders remembers the moment a little differently. His new album had clear callbacks to that moment.

The first track was named “Go Out Swinging,” while the album cover itself was a picture of the punch. However, he had altered the player on the receiving end, editing it to be Pro Bowler Dalton Kincaid.

Fans noticed the change immediately, directly calling out Sanders. “Dude is so insecure [that] he photoshopped a better player into the picture to look cooler. I’m crying, it wasn’t even Kincaid in the original scuffle.”

Others saw the change, too, with one fan wondering, “That has to be something you can sue over, right?”

Even Nate Tice of Yahoo Sports couldn’t hide his shock, commenting, “That’s hysterical.”

Another fan wanted Kincaid to go after Sanders through legal channels, jokingly admitting, “Looks like Kincaid has been gifted a pretty nice lawsuit payout.”

One fan summarized the situation while unable to hide their shock at how it was unfolding: “Kincaid being edited into Shilo Sanders’ album cover has me dying, man, just getting into it with Zach Davidson and leaving that as the cover is a million times less embarrassing than editing a better player into it to make yourself feel better.”

It remains to be seen whether the outcry from fans will cause Sanders to change strategy. But this late in development, it seems unlikely that any changes will be made to the album or its cover.
