Caitlin Clark played well in the Indiana Fever’s 111-91 blowout of the Connecticut Sun on Friday, finishing with a 34-point, 12-assist double-double to help her team take the fourth spot in the standings, half a game ahead of the Atlanta Dream.
Clark, who also recorded 5 rebounds and 3 steals in 34 minutes on the court, divided the WNBA community after a clip of a postgame moment went viral online.

After the win, Clark was interviewed on television with a cameraman standing just a few meters in the background.
After the postgame talk, the Indiana Fever star was headed to the locker room when she bumped into the cameraman, who was walking while attempting to shoot.
Clark seemed to shove the cameraman out of her way and continued toward the dugout while the cameraman stopped to give way.
A basketball follower shared the clip on social media, prompting the WNBA community to comment on Clark’s action.

Another hoops fan slammed Clark’s behavior, writing: “‘Excuse me’ never came from that girl mouth ever. You can tell she don’t know what that mean.”
Another user imagined how the internet could have reacted had it been the Atlanta Dream star. “They would’ve dropped an airstrike on angel reese,” they pointed out.
While social media piles on over the interaction, Clark will think little of it when she is in Berlin. The Fever star will be part of a strong Team USA roster at the FIBA Women’s World Cup, which begins on Sept. 4.
