Trevor Lawrence enters the 2026 season looking to build on the most productive fantasy campaign of his career. The former prodigy saw his fantasy value spike after the Jags acquired Jakobi Meyers last season, providing a boost in efficiency and consistency to the entire passing attack.
Should I Draft Trevor Lawrence in Fantasy Football?
That midseason addition helped propel Lawrence to career highs across the board in 2025, finishing with 29 passing touchdowns, nine rushing touchdowns, and 359 rushing yards.
Looking ahead to 2026, Lawrence may be asked to carry an even heavier load for Jacksonville. Travis Etienne taking his talents to New Orleans in free agency could put significantly more on the shoulders of Lawrence this season, something that could allow him to level up above where his current ADP rests. The backfield could still produce with Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez stepping into larger roles, but I expect them to run well after the pass is established, not the other way around.

Ultimately, there are only a handful of quarterbacks in the league capable of passing for 4,000 yards and running for 500 yards in a single campaign, and Lawrence is firmly on that list.
With his dual-threat baseline expanding and the offense leaning further into his playmaking ability, I’m expecting his first season with 30+ TD passes. Draft him confidently as an ascending QB1 with league-winning upside that won’t break the bank: if you have to overpay a round to ensure you land him, I have nothing wrong with that.

I’ll stop short of saying that the cast around him in Jacksonville is too good for him to fail, but it’s close. This offense was built with a specific vision in mind and after seeing Lawrence thrive for the second half of 2025, this is a situation where you have one last chance to buy the potential at a decent cost.
And I’m taking advantage.
