Nike and the NFL have officially unveiled the 2026 “Rivalries” collection for teams across the NFC North and AFC South. As expected, the experimental alternate designs immediately became a hot topic.
Green Bay Packers fans and Chicago Bears fans wasted little time clawing at each other’s throats once the uniforms were unveiled.
Packers and Bears Fans Roast 2026 Rivalries Uniforms
The Packers are scheduled to debut their new uniforms on October 11 at Lambeau Field when they face Chicago in the 214th meeting between the two historic rivals. The Bears will showcase their alternate look on Christmas Day when they welcome Green Bay to Soldier Field.
Green Bay’s new uniform features a desaturated vintage green jersey accented by delicate alabaster and gold stripes. The design is completed with alabaster pants and a matching matte helmet featuring green and gold striping.
On the other hand, Chicago went in a much bolder direction. The jersey features a navy base with orange numbers outlined in white, with bright orange pants.
The Packers-Bears rivalry is the oldest, most-played, and one of the most historic rivalries in NFL history. So, it did not take long for supporters from both sides to turn the uniform reveal into another chapter of their ongoing rivalry.

When asked which of the two were better, one fan remarked, “Packers easily lol those Bears ones are gross.”

The intensity of the Packers-Bears rivalry has never been limited to the fans. Players have also played a major role in adding memorable moments to one of the NFL’s longest-running rivalries.
Before leaving Green Bay, former Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers became part of the rivalry’s history with his famous “I still own you” declaration toward a Bears fan. The comment quickly became one of the most recognizable taunts in professional sports and added another unforgettable moment to the rivalry’s long history.
However, the new rivalry uniforms are not exclusive to Green Bay and Chicago. During the 2026 season, every team from the NFC North and AFC South will receive a newly designed uniform to wear during a home game against a divisional rival.
The collection is part of a league-wide collaboration between Nike and the NFL. The initiative began in 2025 with the goal of giving rivalry games an even stronger identity through specially designed Nike uniforms and accompanying fan merchandise.
