Former NFL defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko called on the WNBA to issue a hefty $100,000 fine and a suspension against Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud following her controversial postgame comments.
Reacting to Cloud labeling court-disrupting male fans as “gay,” Fehoko pointed to LaMelo Ball’s NBA fine to demand equal accountability.

The WNBA has been dealing with a bizarre and frustrating trend of spectators throwing objects onto the court during live games. What started as an isolated viral prank back in 2025 has escalated into a recurring disruption across multiple arenas.
The latest incident occurred at Wintrust Arena during a matchup between Chicago and the Golden State Valkyries on Friday, forcing a pause in the third quarter while arena staff cleared the floor.
After the game, Sky guard Natasha Cloud was visibly fed up. Speaking to reporters in a postgame press conference, Cloud called out the male fans behind the stunt, calling them “weak.”
But while her frustration over player safety was completely understandable, her choice of words immediately kicked off a wave of criticism:
“That is the gayest thing you can do … So keep throwing them if you just want to keep telling us you’re gay. Come out. You’ll be happier.”

Cloud’s decision to use “gay” as a put-down didn’t sit well with everyone, leading many to call out the language as inappropriate.
Speaking on his podcast “The Breiden Fehoko Show,” Fehoko called for the WNBA to take severe disciplinary action. He drew a direct parallel to Ball, who was hit with a $100,000 fine by the NBA for saying “no homo” during a postgame interview in November 2024.
“You know what’s funny about that? Natasha Cloud, you said, quote unquote, ‘This is the gayest thing you can do.’ You wanna get treated like a man? You wanna get the same rights as NBA players? Do you know what the NBA fined LaMelo Ball?” Fehoko asked.
“They fined him $100K for a homophobic slur in a post-game presser. Natasha Cloud, you wanna get treated like a man? How about we fine you 100k? What LaMelo Ball said was not as bad as what you said… WNBA, throw her the fine, suspend her for some games.”
Ultimately, the WNBA is facing a delicate balancing act. While league officials must do everything they can to stop unruly fans from disrupting games and risking player safety, they also can’t turn a blind eye when players use derogatory language on the mic.
