Under NFL roster rules, organizations will not execute incremental cuts. Instead, teams must reduce their offseason 90-player rosters directly down to the mandatory 53-active-player limit by Sunday, August 30, at 6:00 p.m. ET.

Once waivers clear on Monday, August 31, franchises will establish practice squads before turning full attention to Regular Season Week 1 kickoff on Wednesday, September 9.
