‘Confidence Is MIA’ — Lexie Hull’s Mom Makes Concerning Admission About Her Daughter While Responding to Fever Guard’s Critics

Lexie Hull's mom has addressed her daughter's lack of production after scathing critique for her performance against the Toronto Tempo.

Lexie Hull was the X-factor for the Indiana Fever in 2025. They went against the odds to Game 5 of the WNBA semifinals against the eventual champions, the Las Vegas Aces.

She pulled off a game-winning stop in the first round against the Atlanta Dream while having a career-high season. She averaged 7.2 points and 4.3 rebounds while arguably being the best defender for the Fever and shooting 36.7% from the three-point line.

However, her production has gone down in 2026. Amid Hull’s personal downturn, her mother has shared a concerning message about Lexie Hull’s confidence.

While the Fever have breezed past their 2025 regular-season record, Hull has gone the opposite direction.

During the game against the Toronto Tempo, YouTube creator VenomReacts saw Hull miss an open three and criticized the Fever guard’s off-court focus.

“Yo, Lexi Hull stinks this year. It is what it is. I’ve been too patient with Lexi, man. This is unacceptable. I don’t want to see any more photograph posts. I don’t want to see you post on the ‘gram. I don’t want to see you post on Twitter. I don’t want to see you post anything,” VenomReacts said in his video.

“I don’t want to see nothing but threes. I want to see you in practice. I don’t even see you in practice.”

Hull has multiple off-court engagements, including serving as the brand ambassador for RYSE Fuel and appearing in advertisements for Google Pixel and Dazzle Dry, among others.

In 2026, she co‑launched FORTA Cosmetics with former Stanford roommate Sarah Guller, a beauty brand aimed at athletes and active consumers.

Hull’s mom, Jaime, saw this criticism of her daughter and decided to make a concerning admission in response. “Imagine how she feels…. 🥺. She is actually less busy with Forta this year than she was last year, but perception is reality. Confidence is MIA… 😔😢😔,” she replied.

She is averaging 5.1 points and 3.2 rebounds while shooting 33.7% from the three-point line. On defense, she has a defensive rating of 110.2, up from 103.5 last year.

The creator drew the connection between the increased off-court presence and her performance. But her mother simply said it’s a matter of confidence.

Whatever the reason for her struggles, Hull will need to rediscover her confidence and shooting touch, with the Fever looking to make another deep playoff run.
