‘Cooked the Entire Nation’ — WNBA World Reacts As Caitlin Clark ‘Roasts’ Canada After Fever Co-Star Kelsey Mitchell ‘Overheats’ vs. Tempo

Caitlin Clark hilariously roasts the nation of Canada for their lack of Air conditioning and the WNBA world erupts in laughter.

Caitlin Clark was tasked to finish out Indiana Fever’s clash vs the Toronto Tempo without her partner in crime, Kelsey Mitchell, who left the game before the fourth quarter started.

Many believed she had injured herself and sent prayers to the star. Clark, however, made light of the situation post-game to reassure fans about Mitchell’s health by roasting Canada.

Caitlin Clark Goes at Canada for Not Being Cold Enough

Clark finished the game with 24 points on 7-16 shooting from the field and a ‘modest’ 7 assists. When asked post-game why the Fever didn’t end the game with Kelsey out on the floor, the three-time All-Star hilariously blamed Canada’s temperature.

“Maybe if Canada had air conditioning, that would probably be helpful. It’s a million degrees in here, but hopefully she’ll be okay,” the Fever guard said.

This was in reference to Mitchell “overheating,” according to Stephanie White, and eventually being unable to continue playing.

Clark’s playful dig at the country took social media by storm, as fans took to X to pour in their reactions.

“She wasn’t wrong, that arena sounded brutal,” one user posted, sympathizing not only with the players but also with the fans in the arena.

Another observer kept it simple and said, “Caitlin Clark just cooked the entire nation of Canada.”

“That gym is about to be 60 degrees Fahrenheit next time the Fever come to town,” one remarked, alluding to the power Clark and the Fever possess amongst the WNBA.

Another took aim at the Tempo arena and called them out by saying, “No air conditioning in a professional venue in August is actually crazy though.”

While Mitchel may not have finished the game, she left her imprint on it in the three quarters she did suit up for.

Mitchell dropped 29 points despite not playing in the fourth, having scored 16 points in the first quarter alone, and went 11-16 from the field during the game. She also scored the Fever’s final 8 points of the third quarter by herself.

This was Kelsey’s 20th straight game with 20+ points, which ties her for the most all-time in WNBA history alongside A’ja Wilson.

With the momentum that the Fever currently has, it seems unlikely that their opponents in the W will be able to figure out their kryptonite anytime soon.
