Rashid Shaheed Fantasy Projection 2026: Is the Seahawks WR Draftable At All?

Rashid Shaheed finished under 30 receiving yards in seven of nine games after the trade. Is the Seahawks WR draftable at all in 2026 fantasy football?

Rashid Shaheed is a good player with a great impact on the Seahawks but minimal weekly fantasy appeal. That tension defines his outlook heading into his age-28 season, and nothing in the data suggests it’s about to resolve in his favor. In half-PPR, single-QB formats, Shaheed remains a name managers respect on tape and hesitate to trust in their lineup.

Should You Draft Rashid Shaheed in Fantasy Football?

Seattle’s offense gave him every chance to level up during last season’s Super Bowl run, and he still finished with more carries (four) than catches (three) in that stretch. That’s not a role that screams weekly fantasy starter, no matter how explosive the player is when the ball is in his hands.

The volume problem isn’t new, and it isn’t going away. Shaheed has 12 career touchdown receptions and has picked up 578 yards on those plays, good for 48.2 yards per score, which tells you exactly how his fantasy production shows up: in chunks, tied to explosive plays that are almost impossible to project on a weekly basis.

He finished under 30 receiving yards in seven of nine regular-season games after last season’s trade, and that’s the floor managers need to sit with before drafting him as anything more than a situational piece.

The selling point would be the lack of competition in town once you get past Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

  • Cooper Kupp looked cooked for stretches last season
  • Jake Bobo’s career catch total is barely ahead of his age
  • Tory Horton posted 1.18 yards per route run, a number in line with Tim Patrick or Noah Brown, not a real threat for volume.
  • AJ Barner had just two games with five or more receptions all season.

None of that competition is scary, but it’s the same pieces that were in place last season, when he struggled to earn much of anything on a weekly basis.

The issue lies with the offense itself. Seattle ranked 32nd in pass rate last season, and 32nd in pass rate when trailing, which means this isn’t a game-script quirk. Spending draft capital on Jadarian Price suggests the run-first approach won’t change significantly in 2026.

Shaheed is one of the best at what he does, but that skill set doesn’t equal a profile built to grow. He’ll have usable weeks. His path to a permanent spot in fantasy lineups is narrow at best, and it may not even exist.
