NFL analyst Nick Harris wrote, “Camden Brown x2!!! Joe Milton lobs it into the corner of the end zone, and Brown brings it down with one hand. If the preseason ended today, this guy is on the team.” In a follow-up post, Harris wrote, “Camden Brown. Welcome to the show.”

Then came NFL analyst Skip Bayless, who pointed to Brown’s camp momentum while praising his two-score performance. Bayless wrote, “Camden Brown, the undrafted out-of-nowhere rookie hit of Cowboy camp, has now made two sensational touchdowns in this first preseason game. I just wish he played anything but receiver. We simply have the best TRIO of receivers in the NFL.”
Brown’s showing means even more because he arrived in Dallas after a major turnaround at Georgia Southern. He posted 65 receptions, 1,079 yards, and 14 touchdowns in 2025 after transferring from Auburn, where he had limited production amid coaching changes.
