New England Patriots legend Tom Brady grabbed the headlines due to his altercation with professional wrestler Logan Paul at the Fanatics Fest in New York City last week. Brady and Paul have had a long-running feud that boiled over on Friday after the seven-time Super Bowl champion slapped the influencer before New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns separated the pair.
Podcasters Mock Tom Brady’s Feud With Logan Paul
During a recent segment of the “Chicks in the Office” podcast, Maria Ciuffo, Francesca Mariano, and a guest mocked Brady’s beef with Paul, speculating that billionaire Michael Rubin orchestrated it.
“Tom Brady and Logan Paul, what the hell is going on? Because this is the most crawl out of my skin (expletive) that I’ve been seeing,” Ciuffo said. “The nerd comment. You couldn’t think of any other word to use? Calling Logan Paul a nerd is also lame, the whole thing is so lame… Michael Rubin is like, ‘If you want to keep you equity, you have to fight Logan Paul.”
The guest podcaster speculated that the Paul and Brady altercation was engineered to possibly launch the NFL icon’s entry into the WWE.

“Yeah, I’ve seen Dave talk about it too,” the guest podcaster said. “Like, what does Michael Rubin have on this guy? Or what does Michael Rubin have on everyone?… He goes, ‘Tom, did you not read the contract? Right here in the bottom, in this tiny print. It says, fake beef with Logan Paul.'”

Mariano went on a different tangent, speculating that Brady was trying to fit in with a younger audience.
“But do you think it’s just a desperate try to be cool with the kids despite it not being cool with the kids? And he has teenagers,” Ciuffo added. “Tom Brady has equity in Fanatics.”

Brady owns equity in Rubin’s memorabilia company, Fanatics, and he played in the inaugural five-on-five Fanatics Flag Football Classic Tournament in March, held in Los Angeles to help promote flag football at the Summer Olympics. Paul’s team defeated Brady’s 34-26 at the event.
The former New England star also exchanged the middle finger with Paul during the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina on Sunday, prompting Rubin to intervene in the brewing feud.
During Monday’s segment of the “98.5 Sports Hub,” analyst Michael Felger blasted Brady for his feud with Paul and accused him of courting the spotlight to get paid.
“So, I’ve heard people surmise that he’s [Brady] doing this because he craves the spotlight,” Felger said. “He doesn’t want to fade away. He always wants to be in the headlines, wants to be in the mix. His ego. He hasn’t been able to put aside the competitiveness that he had as a player.
“And so now he’s taken it into his private life. I think you’re missing the mark there, folks. He wants the payday. He wants cash. And it’s ironic because as a player, he did not carry himself like this at all.”
Since he retired from the NFL in 2023, Brady has indulged in several pursuits, including a minority ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders and joining the FOX broadcast team.
