Jason Kelce Says He Drank ‘Way Over’ 15 Beers at Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift Wedding

Jason has spoken publicly for the first time since Kelce and Swift’s grand wedding celebration. While attending the American Century Championship in Nevada, the former Philadelphia Eagles center admitted he had an unforgettable time celebrating.

“It was a good time,” Jason told a fan with a big smile, according to the New York Post.
He also described the celebration as “great.” When another spectator asked whether he drank more or fewer than 15 beers during the festivities, Jason laughed before admitting the final count was “way over.”

Kelce and Swift’s wedding was one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings in recent memory. Although the couple worked hard to keep the ceremony private, with guests reportedly signing NDAs, details gradually emerged after they tied the knot on July 3.

Jason served as his brother’s best man, while Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, was her man of honor. The couple also opted against traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen, choosing a more unconventional, relaxed wedding party. Their close friend Adam Sandler, who worked with Kelce in Happy Gilmore 2, officiated the ceremony.

Jason was not the only member of the Kelce family in attendance. Their mother, Donna Kelce, was also there to celebrate the occasion. When asked about the wedding, she said,

“I really can’t say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man, magical,” while their father, Ed Kelce, termed it “Great.”

As more details continue to emerge, the celebration appears to have brought together some of the biggest names from music, film, and sports. The guest list reportedly included Selena Gomez, Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence, Gigi Hadid, Hugh Grant, Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, Fergie, and Machine Gun Kelly.

The NFL was equally well represented, with Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, Chris Jones, Isiah Pacheco, Trent McDuffie, George Kittle, Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Tom Brady, Kyle Juszczyk, and Mike Vrabel all reportedly in attendance.

Swift and Kelce had met in 2023 after Kelce unsuccessfully tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet at an “Eras Tour” concert at Arrowhead Stadium.

His comments about the encounter from his “New Heights” podcast later went viral before Swift’s mother, Andrea, eventually helped arrange the couple’s first meeting. Their relationship quickly blossomed, and it did not take long for the pop icon to become a familiar face at Chiefs games at Arrowhead Stadium.

From celebrating the Chiefs’ victory in Super Bowl 58 to enduring heartbreak in the big game the following season, the couple experienced both highs and lows together.

They announced their engagement in August 2025, and after their grand wedding at MSG, guests received handkerchiefs bearing the message, “So it’s gonna be forever.” So, it is.
